Japan Ichiban's Friends Network = Love + Marriage + 2 Children = Lots of Happiness!!

Grant, Sydney, Australia/ Satoko, Japan

In a nutshell that is our continuing success story! And we owe it all to Japan Ichiban's Friends Network. Satoko and I met in Tokyo through Japan Ichiban's Friends Network right back in 2003 when it was all just starting up, and wow it has changed our lives! Japan Ichiban's Friends Network was spot on in helping us find each other because one thing led to another and 6 months later in the middle of 2004 we both find ourselves pointing towards mainland Asia as we depart Japan together for an overland trip from Japan to Europe and back to Australia.

A year later we land in Sydney where we now live the idyllic quintessential Australian lifestyle with our little son 'Lotus" who was a gift from an ashram in India during our travels :-) Yes that is where he was made ha-ha. Lotus was made in India, Japanese mother, British father and was born in Australia; how lucky to have three passports and ultimately he owes it all to Japan Ichiban's Friends Network. If that wasn't enough, next week we look forward to welcoming Lotus' baby sister into the growing World of Friends - WOW! Thanks Japan Ichiban's Friends Network!

It all started with you! Lots of Love, Grant,Satoko,Lotus&??? Anyone out there have any great ideas for our coming daughter's name?

A Smile Goes A Long Way

Sanya, Toronto Canada & Tony, Toronto Canada
I joined Japan Ichiban's Friends Network to find a language tutor and someone to talk to about travel and Japan. Accidentally I clicked on a picture of a cute guy who lived in the same city and sent him a smile and he emailed me back. We exchanged emails for a week and started to chat online, then moved on to phone. We talked on the phone every night and got closer day by day. We met up expecting to be friends, however the meeting lead to something else. I sent him a smile in the middle of January, and he asked me out at the beginning of February. We have been together ever since. We both joined to meet people from Japan and to learn Japanese, however we ended up finding each other, a Taiwanese boy and a Serbian girl. We both thank you so much for everything! Without our interest in the Japanese Culture and this great site we would have never met. I read the stories of people who met their spouses here but never thought i would find the perfect guy on this website.

A little bit of courage and action led us to happiness!

temp0214, Yamaguchi and yulanzheng, Shanghai

Hello everyone! Thanks to Japan Ichiban's Friends Network! ....I am leading the happy married life, I met my wife (Chinese) in February 2005, and married 8 months later. We both had communication problems due to language barrier, however, we could still communicate in emails every day using online translator. It is not easy for a single Chinese female to visit Japan, so I visited her 2ce in China and I felt she must be the one for me! Now my wife is so used to the life here and even got herself a part time job at nearby resort hotel. A little bit of courage and action led us to happiness! Maybe the world is not as big as you think. Anyway, I would like to thank you very much Japan Ichiban's Friends Network !

Thanks to Japan Ichiban's Friends Network! We got married!

Yuki, Japan and Kev, California
Kev sent me a smile in February 2005 and we started to exchange emails since then. In June he visited me in Japan for 2 weeks. He was very genuine and I became attracted to him, but I was unsure about his sudden marriage proposal to me. In November, I went to California and found how much he was loved by his parents and friends, so I decided to accept his proposal. Since then I've been busy running around to obtain the fiancee visa. The visa was granted at the end of August and I moved in October and got married on December 2, 2006 at Carmel Beach church. If I didn't join Japan Ichiban's Friends Network, I could have never met him! I sincerely appreciate Japan Ichiban's Friends Network for bringing us so much love and happiness!

A priceless friendship!

Brian and Risa
My name is Brian. Thanks to your service, I’ve made a very good friend here in Japan. I had just gotten out of basic training and learned that I was to be stationed in Japan. I signed up for a month and e-mailed a couple of people. I got lots of responses, and I responded back to everyone, but only one kept going. So we kept writing back and forth. About two months later I had been in Japan for a month and I kept in contact with my friend. We finally met in person two weeks ago and she has taken me to all kinds of places within the last two weeks. Her name is Risa and she is one of the coolest people I have ever met in my life. We plan to go out again! Thank you, it was well worth the money for a priceless friendship!

I am really happy that I registered at WorldFriends Networks

K.K.

I met a wonderful person through this service. At the moment he lives nearby, but soon he will return to U.S. When I was down, he cheered me up and supported me. He is a very kind and wonderful gentleman. I did not expect to meet such a nice person here, so I am really happy that I registered. Exchanging emails is really enjoyable and gives me energy. It is sometimes difficult because of the differences between our cultures. However, I really feel that there is no boundary between people with a good heart.

I deeply appreciate the chance to meet him here. He gave me lots of beautiful words.

I am really happy that I registered WorldFriends Networks.

“I joined WorldFriends Networks to look for friends … instead I found the man of my destiny

Saori(Kobe, Japan) and David(Montreal, Canada)

Soon after I registered for Japan Ichiban's Friends Network at the end of 2005, David sent me a smile and an email. As he was very nice looking, I replied to his email. But in fact, I did not feel so confident in English. So I studied English and with the help of an English dictionary, I continued to communicate with him. He visited me in Japan for three weeks in April 2006 and we became very close and felt so strongly for each other.

In July 2006, I visited him in Canada and met his family for the first time. The trip was so eventful and wonderful. In November, he proposed to me and now I am living in Canada with him learning to become a good house wife. We plan to go to Japan in May and get married.

I bought a PC in October 2005 and joined Japan Ichiban's Friends Network in November to look for friends from Thailand. Instead, I found the man of my destiny. Honestly speaking, in the beginning I was not so sure about the people I would meet, but I found there are many nice people that you can meet online. Yes, that's true, just like my David!! If we did not join Japan Ichiban's Friends Network, we could not have met each other. When I think of this fact, I really think this site is amazing!!! David told me that he bought a VIP subscription only to talk with me. The money he spent was not wasted at all! None of us knows where she will encounter the man of her life. Many people try to look for a partner inside a very small social circle such as school or company. But in our case, we found each other globally via Japan Ichiban's Friends Network, and that's so wonderful! By the way, besides finding a soul mate, it is also so nice to find good friends all over the world!!

Thank you for the wonderful service. Yes, you can publish the story of me and my boyfriend. We met through this service, and then met in public. Since then we kept seeing each other and found out we love each other.

Thank you for making it easy for us women who cannot go out to look for someone special. You help us a lot by providing this website to search and make good friends as well.

Not so many people get lucky, but I found a real gentleman and I'm so glad I joined this service. Since meeting through this service, we have been seeing each other as much as we can. We live far from each other, but we travel to see each other. I think he is a great guy. We love each other, and plan to get married in the near future. I just had to look and there he was. Thank you WorldFriends Networks!

I believe if you trust WorldFriends Networks, you will really find the one you are looking for.

Ketoki , Kanagawa Pre.

Hello! This fall, I will marry a guy who I met on this site last summer. Our expectations for life partners and values in life were very similar and we could click quickly and naturally. I believe strongly that I will get along with him and we can trust each other for the rest of our lives, and it makes me so happy.

Since we had a long distance relationship, we started with exchanging emails and moved on to talk on the phone and chat, and finally we visited each other during holidays. We asked each other so many questions that we feel we understand each other so well before getting married.

This site has plenty of members from all over the world, thus I could find my life time partner. So, we really appreciate this site for being our cupid.

I truly wish all members here will meet the best partner for their happiness.

I just wanted to thank the people who operate this site for giving us a wonderful chance to find each other and inform all members here that this site really works and gives us a chance to find a life time partners, friends, etc. I believe if you trust WorldFriends Networks, you will really find the one you are looking for.

Why couldn't I have found WorldFriends Networks a long time ago?

David Petrusaitis

There have been hundreds of dating sites that I have tried, but with no success. That is until I found a VERY awesome site provided by WorldFriends Networks, and found the right type of girl that I always wished for. Why couldn't I have found this a long time ago? :)
Thank you.

If it wasn't for our connection at your service, we both would still be looking for our soul mates.

William and Sophia

I am a US citizen. I was looking to meet my soul mate, someone that I could develop a meaningful relationship with and that was interested in marriage and would consider moving to the United States. I was able to meet that special someone using this service.
I started chatting with a beautiful lady friend on July 17th 2004. We have been chatting for the past 7 months. We recently took vacation together in Hong Kong for the 2004 Christmas holiday. It was then that I proposed to her, presented her with diamond engagement ring, and met her family.

In two months she will be here in the United States where we will make our final arrangements to be married July 17th 2005.

If it wasn’t for our connection at your service, we both would still be looking for our soul mates. Thank you very much for providing an international connection. We are very grateful to you and your staff.

We hope that everyone else using your service experience the same luck and happiness.

Thank you

Thanks to WorldFriends Networks … we are thrilled and overjoyed.

Vic and Elizabeth

On October. 9th, 2003, a young lady through your services e-mail me, calling herself Pinky. We've e-mail through about April and then she called me and we have been talking on the phone ever since. I travel to HongKong to meet her and her family and friends which at that time I asked her to be my wife and to live with me here in the U.S. We are now in the process of a Finacee Visa, which will take about 4-6 months. Hopefully some time in February. or March of 2005, we will be married. I love this woman with all my heart and though I was quite content with my life before I ever met her. Now I wonder how I can live without her. Without WorldFriends Networks this might have never happened.

Vic Riggs
From the both of us, thanks to WorldFriends Networks. We are thrilled and over-joy to have our story on your web-site. The same day you sent your e-mail to us, HomeLand Security also informed us that our visa has been approved. Now thats fate!!!!! The picture is from our meeting together in HongKong last July. Again, a Big Thanks to all of you,

P.S. We will let you know when we are married!!!!!

In less than a two-week period, I found the perfect match!

Steven and Tammy

First of all, I must comment that your WorldFriends Networks service is working for real, and I wasn’t wasting my money for sure.
I’m a new registered paid member. In the past two weeks I received email replies from pretty interesting ladies. I’m quite satisfied with your support, for which I thank you.

In less than a two-week period, I found the perfect match from your services! The good thing is: I don’t have to fly across the ocean to see her. Tammy, is located at Houston, Texas. That will save me lot of on travel to meet her because I’m from Toronto, Canada.

I didn’t expect things happen so quickly, and that we both share lot in common. I just want you to know, thanks again. Keep up the good work.

Wishing you Merry Christmas, peace to all your staff.

Met special penpals on Japan Ichiban's Friends Network!

beemg, Hanover, Germany / Sachiko, Tokyo Japan

The first penpal I found lives in Tokyo, the other side of the world from Germany! She helped me prepare my trip to Japan early last year and also met me when I visited Tokyo. I spent a wonderful day sightseeing with her! Ever since we have been writing to each other nearly every week and when I travel to Japan again this autumn, I will be able to hold her new-born baby in my arms! What a wonderful occasion to see my dear friend again! The other penfriend is a Scottish lass which I incidentally also met in Japan!

Two people from Europe travel across the globe to meet in Japan! We exchanged many travel details before we left for Japan and when we got there, she came travelling down from the north of Japan....I came up from the south, we met in the middle of Tokyo and had a nice cake and coffee at a Starbucks. We had many travel stories to tell each other and exchanged many tips and after only 2 hours we both had to continue our journeys in opposite directions... But again, we still keep in contact from time to time.......after all, thats what penpals are for!!! I also would like to mention all the many short-term and long-term penpals, like my friend from India (who writes to me nearly every day!), some Europeans and some more Japanese who I have been in touch with over the years thanks to Japan Ichiban's Friends Network!

It was April 28th and that day was my birthday

victoyjoy, China and Chris, France

I went online as usual. Then i noticed that someone sent me an email.it said that he wanted to chat with me, and maybe be a friend of mine. He is from Paris in France and i am from China. Although i am an english major undergraduate student. My english is not very well so is he. we just chatted and then i thought i should tell him.Anyway, it was a special day for me. i told him that day was my birthday then he was very surprised and asked me if it was true. i responded him it was really the truth. He said "i just feel surprised.because today is my birthday too'. i was very happy and could not describe my feeling. Because i think maybe something is really predestined. we had a good chat that night and i considered him as a good friend of mine. Maybe you will ask me the result of it.i think the result is that we become good friends. That is enough for me and just want to treasure it.

I recommend Japan Ichiban's Friends Network to anyone with cross-border interests!

Hachimitsusan, Colorado USA/captain0051, Kobe Japan

Living in the central U.S. it has been difficult for me to have friendships with East Asian people as there are so few living here and the cultural values of East Asians seem to be only vaguely understood or appreciated here. My wife is a Japanese and we travel back and forth to Japan fairly frequently but for me personally as an American born guy. I find it difficult to learn more about Japanese language and culture when we are not actually there. I find my membership in Worldfirends to be a very special and helpful resource for meeting new East Asian friends and especially with Japanese people who can speak both Japanese and English languages. I have studied Japanese language for many years in classes here in the U.S. but most of it has been academic and separated from the actual daily concerns of everyday Japanese life. My Japan Ichiban's Friends Network contacts have been very helpful for my developing a deeper understanding of the language and how it applies to real world situations. I consider the availability of Japan Ichiban's Friends Network as a special and much needed resource for anyone in the two general areas of the world (East Asia and the U.S.) to communicate, exchange cultural information, and simply to get more familiar with each other as friends and people. The Japan Ichiban's Friends Network administrators and web hosts have always been helpful and courteous when I have contacted them with my questions and concerns. Japan Ichiban's Friends Network has fulfilled many of the wishes and desires I have had for more contact with Japanese people when I am not actually there myself..and I recommend it to anyone having similar interests in developing their language skills and desire for cultural exchange.

Don't know where I would be without them!

spiderwick, Warrington UK/minobu519, Japan, kazuaki, Japan, nadesiko, Japan

I've met some great people. I'm currently learning Japanese and I've met three people who are really helping me with my language skills! As a self-study student I'm often coming up against some difficulties with the language; difficulties my text book really doesn't explain. But the three people I have met are always kind enough to help me through it. I also like to return the favour to help with any English problems. But that's not all! We share our differences in culture, exchange book and music recommendations. Though we are all hard workers, often leaving our chats to the weekend, we are always happy to have a friendly natter when we can. Don't know where I would be without them!

I found a truly amazing friend here !

insect1010, Tokyo Japan and Louis, honan China

I started to learn Chinese last year and was looking for Chinese friends in Japan Ichiban's Friends Network. One day, a person from Honan, China replied me and told me that she is a very busy person so she can't write regularly. Later on, she sent me some documents and asked me how to express things in Japanese and I was surprised by the high level of Japanese she was using and made me wonder what she does for a living. After awhile, she informed me that she was accepted to a doctoral progam in Japanese University and I learned that she was a working obstetrician and gynecologist....and I finally understood why she is such a busy person. In March, she came to Japan. She did not want to trouble me to pick her up at the airport and asked me to wait at her hotel. As I worried, she got lost in the big city and did not show up. I tried to think of all the possibilities of where she might be and kept trying to find her for 5 hours and finally found her in Ochanomizu train station. Though I have not even seen her photo I was so sure it was her! She was carrying 5 large blanket bags on a small luggage cart, bumped up against the staircase. The first sight of her was like this....a small lady picking up large bags that kept falling off from the cart one by one ... This scene reminded me of myself when I first came up from the countryside long long time ago, and I arrived at Ueno train station with my large luggage containing rice, and my brother launghed at me. I was also a country boy then, so I could not laugh. From the next day, she started to study Japanese really hard and also started going to the research lab.. She did not take any days off even on weekends or public holidays. I believe she will definitely complete her Ph.D. I suggested her to remain in Japan after her studyies and work as a gynecologist in Japan. She asked me how to work in Japan and now it seems she is interested in doing so. She asked me many times how to thank me in return for my kindness. So, I told her she does not have to repay me, but she should help others instead of me when she sees they need help. It is my first time to meet such a wonderful friend and I am grateful to be able to help her.

I am really hooked with Japan Ichiban's Friends Network!

KAZU3716

I am 45....despite their ideal ages for people they want to communicate with, I sent many smiles as I have nothing to lose. To my surprise, I received many replies from members in Romania, France, Russia, Germany, Thai, Singapore, China, Philippines, etc. Usually I try to communicate with them in their languages using online translator. Sometimes, the translation is not accurate, but I keep on communicating and I think I learn a lot this way. Now, I am regularly communicating with members from Germany and Romania. I online chat with Romanian member almost everyday to talk about daily life and we get along very well, so it's so much fun. As Japanese culture (especially comics) has been spread into the world and many people are interested in it, and she is also one of them, it adds some more fun to our chat. She told me the reason she replied me was in fact, her sister liked my smiling photo on the site. So, now I know the photo means a lot. I am completely hooked with this site....as I can learn various things in different countries. By communication we can undestand each others and have fun together. Now, I really feel the importance of language too.
